1. Analyze the current genetic testing methods available for four common conditions: autism, epilepsy, diabetes and Alzheimer's.
2. Identify appropriate patients for genetic testing for these common conditions.
3. Examine the impact of genetic testing on recommendations for clinical management of these common conditions.

The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) to offer up to .39 CEUs or 3.98 Category 1 contact hours for the activity, Update on Common Conditions: Epilepsy, Diabetes, Autism and Alzheimer's Disease. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned by participating in this program for the purposes of genetic counselor recertification.
